My Favorite TV Shows

First, I will make a list of my favorite TV shows.

1) The Simpsons

2) C.S.I. Las Vegas

3) Prison Break

4) Everybody Hates Chris

5) American Dad

I’ve been watching a lot of American TV shows, and these are my favorites.

But among these TV shows, I pick <The Simpsons> as my best American TV show ever.

So I’ll tell you some things about <The Simsons>.

- When is/was it on?

The pilot episode was aired on 17th December, 1989. And this show is still on.

Its 19th season has been aired from September 2007.

- What kind of show is/was it?

<The Simpsons> is an animation which is showing you  what is happening around a family, simpsons family.

It contains black comedies which make fun of celebrities or politicians.

But this show is so popular that many renowned people have taken the roles in some episodes as themselves.

The celebrities such as Micheal Jackson, Elton John, Kim Basinger, Tom Hanks, etc. have taken the part in the episodes as themselves.

 So it is very fun to find famous names at the end of the episode when the ending credit is shown.

 - What is/was it about?

<The Simpsons> is a story about the usual days of the unusual family members.

 - How often do/did you watch it?

I watch it probably….. about three or four times a week. I watch it almost everyday while eating my meals.

- What do/did you like about it?

<The Simpsons> is always making me laugh. That’s why I like <The Simpsons>.

- How much time do you spend watching TV every day? Every Week?

About 2~3 hours a day. I watch TV every day.

My hometown

1) Where are you from?

I’m from Gang-nam, Seoul.

 2) How long have you lived there?

I’ve lived there for 4 years.

 3) What are some of the special people or places associated with your hometown?

Well.. I don’t know well about that. All I know is Song Hye-gyo and Han Hye-jin graduated my high school, Eun-kwang girls’ high.

4) What are some of your favorite hangouts?

Before I moved to Gang-nam gu, I lived in Gang-buk gu for 15 years. There are not that many hangouts in Gang-nam than Gang-buk. When I lived in Gang-buk, I usually hang out with my friends at Myoung dong, Sinchon, Hongdae(This I mean the places around Hong-ik University), E-dae(The places around Ehwa Womans’ University), etc…

Among these hangouts, my favorite was E-dae. Around Ehwa Womans’ University, there are so many restaurants, cafe, shops selling all kinds of clothes, jewels, bags, etc… And if we walk along the street to Sinchon for about 5~10 minutes, there is a movie theater. At E-dae, we can go to the movies, and then eat something while we chat about a lot of stuffs that we are interested in, then go shopping. As we do all that stuffs, time flies.
